CPR – Center for Performance Research occupies a 4,000 square-foot ground floor space in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and has two flexible studio spaces. CPR’s studio spaces may be rented for rehearsals, performances, film production, classes and workshops, and other special events. Please visit our Rentals page for more details.

The Large Studio (aka the Theater) is a 1,875 square-foot, flexible rehearsal and performance space, outfitted with an LED theatrical lighting system, full range sound, a sprung marley dance floor, and can seat up to 68 people. 

The Small Studio (aka the Storefront Gallery) functions as a rehearsal studio, gallery, box office, and meeting space, and features floor-to-ceiling storefront windows looking out onto Manhattan Avenue, track lights, and a sprung wooden dance floor. 

CPR is a fully ADA-compliant and accessible venue with two all-gender restrooms, one being wheelchair-accessible.

Large Studio

Dimensions: 41 ft x 26.5 ft (with risers) / 41 ft x 45 ft (empty)

The default setting is a white marley floor with seating risers fully assembled. Upon request, and if scheduling and organizational capacity allows, the marley floor may be flipped to black and/or the risers disassembled, at an additional fee.
